The 57th edition of the report on the major Italian companies produced by the Mediobanca Research Area places Pedrollo Group in 13th place among the most dynamic and successful family businesses. As the study highlights, the group’s strategic choices have been able to combine entrepreneurial vision, industrial efficiency and financial virtuosity. Italian water pump giant eyes further expansion
Giulio Pedrollo, CEO of Pedrollo SpA and Pedrollo Group, on Newsweek says “We represent “Made in Italy”, which is an efficient, beautiful product of high quality at the right price.” For almost 50 years Pedrollo has been expanding worldwide, and continues to design and build pumps that help carry water where it is needed most, including to homes, agricultural fields or industrial facilities. “Treating water with respect is the best way of understanding our group. We want to respect water, which means a lot of things in relation to our products: including using stainless steel, better materials, and overall how we produce water pumps.”
Pedrollo at Jardin des Tuileries in Paris
Did you know that the fountains of the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris dance to the rhythm of Pedrollo pumps?
An ultra-modern system has restored charm and functionality to the Octagon fountain in the Jardin des Tuileries, one of the marvels of Parisian urban design, refurbished thanks to Pedrollo France.
Two new pumping systems consisting of two Pedrollo F-series centrifugal electric pumps have been installed:
- the first optimises water circulation inside the tank to limit the proliferation of algae and remove debris from the filter;
- the second, combined with a variable frequency drive, manages the water games, guaranteeing constant pressure regardless of the number of jets in operation.
The new pumping station moves a total of 200 cubic metres of water per hour and, thanks to its high efficiency, saves up to 20% energy.
